Talisman is governed by a Board of Directors who represent a diversity of backgrounds from a wide breadth of the national community. The Board of Directors play a crucial role in Talisman’s governance. Our elected, volunteer Board consists of individuals who are committed to our mission. Our Board members are responsible for determining and guiding our mission, establishing management policies and procedures, assuring that adequate human resources and financial resources are available, and actively monitoring the organization’s management, financial, and programmatic performance.
