Lieutenant Governor Miller And Secretary Monteiro Visit Talisman

Talisman was honored to welcome Lieutenant Governor Miller and Secretary Monteiro, who volunteered their time in support of the National MLK Jr. Day of Service. Everyone rolled up their sleeves and had a good time as they worked on facility improvement projects to support our programs. Special emphasis was given to the partnership shared between Talisman and the Maryland Department of Service and Civic Innovation. The newly initiated Maryland Corps Service Year Option Program supports the social needs of communities through fostering relationships and growing local workforce capacity.
