The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are pleased to announce the launch of a revised application process for the Outside Agency Grant Program for the upcoming FY26 budget year. This program is designed to support nonprofit organizations and community groups that directly benefit County residents and businesses.
Key Highlights of the Program:
- Eligibility: Grants are available to registered nonprofit entities or community groups in good standing with the IRS and the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation. Organizations must operate within Queen Anne’s County or provide direct services to its residents. Funding is limited to capital costs or special projects and does not cover ongoing operational expenses.
- Application Requirements: Applicants must submit a detailed project narrative, financial records, a line-item budget, proof of local impact, and additional documentation as outlined in the updated policies and procedures.
- Timeline:
- January 10, 2025: Grant opportunity officially opens.
- February 14, 2025: Application submission deadline.
- June 2025: Grant awards announced.
- December 31, 2025: Mid-year reports due.
- June 1, 2026: Final reports due.
